Pelena has been developing a solar kit for households since 1999.  Various components have been on trial throughout the Pacific since that time.   

Commercialisation is expected in late 2004.

 As with other Pelena products, plans are to supply solar technology, not simply hardware.  We believe that setting up the support infrastructure for these products is critical for their success.  On going trials will ensure that the completed solar units will be reliable, affordable, and with proper back-up support will last many years.
